Botshelo Trust (resurrected in 2015) aims to be a developmental platform and central point from which different projects, programmes and ministries are launched and run in the greater Shakawe area.

Botshelo Trust will be driven by the following values:

Seeing God’s Word as source of and foundation for everything. Christ is the way the truth and the life (Joh 14:6), and the starting point for all knowledge and wisdom (Pro 1:7). He reveals Himself through His creation, through history (HisStory) and in His Word. The Bible is our canon and where we get truth, guidance for life and wisdom. Biblical principles drive our projects and participation in communities. Knowledge of God’s Word is therefore crucial and we believe it to be the foundation for all our activities.
Believing that awareness of our stewardship-identity as Christians (people re-created in God’s image and given authority to reign as good kings over all that God has entrusted us with) is very important, as it brings purpose and perspective in life that has the potential to transform individuals to become serving leaders and individuals working for change in their own communities.
Placing emphasis on learning through experience. Knowledge itself is not sufficient and people need to learn how to grow independently, develop positive relationships, new skills and become lifelong learners who can make plans to be able to solve every-day-life problems
